David Kakabadze Z: The Plastic Ornament of the Epoch

”The book is dedicated to the Georgian modern artist and inventor David Kakabadze (1889-1952). David Kakabadze’s only sculpture, “Z, The Speared Fish” (1925) is kept at Yale University Art Gallery as part of The Societe Anonyme collection created by Katherine Dreier and Marcel Duchamp . The book compares the importance of David Kakabadze’s creative work against the background of world avant-garde art of the beginning of the 20th century.
